I should probably put one of these on my regular website too, but the map is a little too big...

Since fandom tastes change (and I'm putting off school projects bored), I'll do this meme again! =D Yoinked from a lot of people.

I just watched 'Do the Right Thing' on demand, and all I have to say is...wow. I think the riot and every scene involving Smiley (there's something about mentally disabled people trying to say something or crying that kicks me right in the gut) will haunt me for the rest of my life. Ego or no ego, Spike Lee is a genius filmmaker.

While on a Spike Lee kick, I also managed to check out 'Jungle Fever.' Not as good as DTRT, but it's a good movie in its own right. The ending at first glance seems to come out of nowhere, but with some thinking it does make sense. It's not just about a blasphemous romance between a black man and a white woman, but it's also about consequences. I won't spoil it. Go see it for yourself. And while I really like Stevie Wonder's soundtrack, it doesn't look like the ending song is on there. =/

I almost watched 'Mo' Better Blues', but ran out of time. Too bad it ends its run tomorrow, and I have cleaning to do.
